haha...my mom loves dr. laura and probably has that book. she really is the voice of reason at times, but all the same i don't really like her.
i read the post you linked and i will say that i agree with just about all of it...but i kind of had to go through a lot of crap in order to really, really understand the nine things that she listed.
i'm a little iffy on her "stupid cohabitation" though. i have my own reasons for not believing in living w/ a boyfriend/girlfriend, but they're much different from hers...more from a practical standpoint ;P that said, i think it can sometimes work out just fine whether or not it ends up with marriage.
i take a lot of what she says with a grain of salt, knowing that she has some religious biases. she can get a little preachy at times and it's sort of annoying :P

yeah i read the reviews online and she's definitely hard to swallow for some people. maybe my views are more conservative than i thought.(?)
