2010

January:
- rang in the new year with wonderful friends at our house late into the night
- found out I contracted asthma after waiting too long to go to the doctor :P

February:
- fought for my job
- quietly placed an offer on yet *another* house

March:
- lost my job
- got the house! :)

April:
- moved in and had our first dinner on the floor of our new kitchen :)
- spent my vacation settling in to the new place
- started interviewing for jobs

May:
- craptacular month of nothing :P

June:
- got a new job....and got my position back from THE DISTRICT.
- completed my first year teaching third grade
- left THE DISTRICT to teach at a brand new charter school

July:
- got a promotion before even actually beginning the job
- started orientation and leadership meetings with my new team

August:
- met my new students (ahmayzing!) and went into survival mode

September:
- celebrated 27(!) with an awesome surprise party hosted by 3 of my bestest friends <3

October:
- still in survival mode

November:
- went to Boston with Damon during fall break

December:
- celebrated Christmas with loved ones in a home that finally feels like ours


The beginning of the year was definitely much more eventful than the last half, when I was just completely immersed in the new job. But, 2010 has been awesome :) Can't wait for the new year!
