update...

I've been meaning to update all week but I guess things got too busy!

This weekend was super-duper fantastic highlighted by our clubbing on Saturday night! Super fun fun fun! 'Twas me, Damy, Bea, Ser, Char, Hoho, Dvd, and Damy's coworker C. Century Club meets my satisfaction :) And so does HoHo's hoochie clothes. Hee,hee....I think we're addicted now which club next and when girls?

What else did I do this weekend? I remember going to Garden Cafe with the usually fab four and HoHo matched the paint on the walls. Oh yeah and Easter brunch with my family *yumYumyum*!

This week was kind of tough with paper/exam. But now things are sort of winding down. From here on out it's just pacing myself and getting final projects, exams and papers done. The commencement ticker says 42 days, 11 hours, 18 minutes and 20 seconds until commencement day. Which means 45 days until my cruise. *WOOT* I'm a happy girl :)

That's it for now. I should really get dressed for class it's practically noon and I have to get out of here soon.

Happy Sunshine! =D

*cough*cough*cough*coUGH*COUGH*COUGH*GAAAAAAAAG*

It is now Monday. Almost a week to the day that I got sick in the first place. This Spring Break has been, by far, the worst in history. I spent all week lying in bed coughing and hacking lungs out, fighting never ending fevers, wiping up yuckie boogers, trying to swallow over my extremely sore throat and combating dizzyness and nausea.

And ya know what? I'm STILL sick. Dang it. Obviously I'm a bit miffed by this. Slightly annoyed. Really MISERABLE. I just want to get BETTER already. I mean, I did everything I was supposed to. While everyone else was partying and enjoying their week of debauchery, IIIIIII was lying in bed watching reruns of Oprah. While everyone else was drunk and traveling, I took Nyquil and did NOTHING except drive myself crazy. I drank soup and water and took nasty pills and syrups and I am STILL sick!

So I finally did the unthinkable and made an appointment with the YICK doctor tomorrow. Something about the sore throat that returned yesterday makes me worry. The fact that my fever carried on for well over four days also worries me. And besides, I have to get through class without these coughing fits. *boo*

Class is kinda' hard now that I'm so behind on studying. Two midterms this week and a paper, and another exam next week. I'm thinking about (shhh...) skipping class tomorrow to work on things. And rest of course, because I'm veeery very sick. Yes. (It's so much more excusable that way.)

Anywhos, must get to work now. Happy Spring Break to all of your quarter people's, and hopefully you won't spend it like me :(

back in action

I'm FINALLY out of bed after three days of complete and utter misery. Seriously, I don't know WHY I always get sick during vacations -- and this wasn't a little cold either. I had full-blown fever, sore throat, coughing, insomnia, you name it. Today is the first day I've actually gotten out of bed and wowies does it feel good.

So much for enjoying a nice restful spring break. :P

The only good thing about being sick:

(-__X)

I'm sleepy. And it's only 2 a.m. It seems even later though since I have to meet my group partner at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow. Don't even get me started on that boy -- he is seriously making this project way harder than it should be. He has got a MAJOR case of senioritis but now it's messing me up!

I've been up late working on my USC application -- getting ready to turn it in tomorrow. I got really nervous filling it out -- I guess I didn't realize just how badly I want to get into this program. It sure would be nice. Many thanks to the girls/guys that went through my essay -- I really appreciate all the comments/suggestions. :)

Gosh it's late. To think that four years ago staying up until 6 in the morning and only getting fifteen minutes of sleep was normal. I can barely stand on 6 hours now. I must be getting old.

Spring Break is next week. I am looking SUPER FORWARD to it. And I'm not even doing anything remotely fun. Just studying for the dang CSET and midterms and papers and working. *yawn* Kinda' sucks not having a break that lines up w/my other friends. Well, USC friends obviously, but I don't have the money to go to Cabo or Puerto Vallarta or whatevers w/all these rich pepls. I wish my hs friends had SB at the same time 'cause at least I could meet up with them. Blah. Either way it's a much needed break from class. After that it's 6 more weeks of class and I will be DONE. *shivers down spine* Scary.

boo

I just accidentally vaccumed up my USC shoelaces. One end got sucked in and the next thing I knew, the vaccum was making this scary sound and I smelled the motor burning. It got all tangled up in the brush on the bottom. I liked those shoelaces, too :(

OILA

Only In Los Angeles...

would I see a tall black dude with super long dreads standing in the middle of the street (in the neighborhood right near my apartment) wearing nothing but a top hat and orange and blue hawaiian print trunks singing and playing the guitar.

If that's not blog-worthy I don't know what is.

Girlie :)

Have you all seen the new GAP commercial? The one with Sarah Jessica Parker singing?

I really like how it's executed. So girlie. And Rodgers and Hammerstein. Can't go wrong, I tell ya.

Happy Girl's Day!

Akari o tsukemashou bonbori ni
Ohana o agemashou momo no hana
Go-nin bayashi no fue taiko
Kyo wa tanoshii Hinamatsuri

It's March 3rd, that means it's Japanese Girl's Day! So if you see any girls today, be nice to them because today is the day to honor all young girls :)

It also means that I've been working like crazy to prepare for my Hinamatsuri Workshop on Saturday. I'm tired as heck. Still have spaces open, so if you know any girls between 7-12 (or younger, actually) let me know and I'll sign 'em up for the workshop! Only $30 and they get to spend the whole day learning from meeee! =D

Below is a picture of the sakura mochi I made. I was testing out my recipe for the workshop, but my roomies loved 'em...and they don't look too bad! :)
