*yea*!

We have a dwelling! A home sweet home! A habitat! A roof! Four walls and some doors! A place to call our own! :)

Well, not our OWN, exactly. But temporarily it'll be ours. We found a place to rent close to home with a fantastic landlord. I'm so excited. More excited than I am about the wedding actually. It's perfect for our little family (us two and Charlie). Damon's gonna be moving in first, and I'll follow after we're officially married and my parents are satisfied that I'm not "living in sin." *rolling eyes*

I smell a barbeque in our future....

This job is so up down.

Yesterday, in the last 10 seconds of class as we were walking out the door, two of my students decided to use the pencil sharpener.

With one of their FINGERS.

(*O-O*)

Today sweet little D gave me a picture she had drawn. I asked her if it was for me and she said yes. I asked her who it was in the picture and she said it was me.

That's when I noticed the huge BOOBS she drew on the girl in the picture.

Today.

Today I feel like sh*t.

Today I just want to crawl under the covers, turn out the lights, and not come out.

Who knows if I can get out of the covers tomorrow.

It's days like these when I wonder what the heck I was thinking getting into teaching. I could've avoided all this red-tape, stressful paperwork, and complexity if I had just stuck with museum education. I wonder if I need a career change...

If a doctor, lawyer, or dentist had 40 people in his office at one time, all of whom had different needs, and some of whom didn't want to be there and were causing trouble, and the doctor, lawyer, or dentist, without assistance, had to treat them all with professional excellence for nine months, then he might have some conception of the classroom teacher's job. ~Donald D. Oh.EM.GEEEEEeEeeeeEeEE!!!!!

We are 80 days out from the wedding.

This week is report cards, next week is parent conferences.

Today I met with our coordinator and although I was told that I'm on check, I'm now overwhelmed as heck trying to figure out how to do everything at once. I need a calendar. Gotta write this stuff down. Holy COW!!!

:P
